Oh, crap.

Alright, so before the moon crashes into the Earth, I suppose I should actually, like, post something. So, here's something: an announcement of a real, actual blog post (that isn't this one)! Start your timers folks, because within 24 hours there'll actually be something worth reading in this neglected, dusty corner of an attic somewhere on the computer tubes.

In the mean time, I should be telling you (whoever happens to be reading) about two (relatively) important things:

Number one: as I've been working on this blog (yes, I have actually been doing stuff with the blog, I swear), I've discovered that uploading any of my pictures takes a really, really long time. And then said pictures at half size take up a LOT of space on the actual page. As such, I created a Photobucket Account and Some Albums to go with it!

This one example picture (you can thank Jesus for it later) took about five full minutes to upload, and I have roughly 300.
Not to mention that this is around half of the size of the original picture and it's already messing with the blog format.

Unfortunately, uploading stuff to Photobucket still takes a good fair bit of time, and I can only upload about six at a time. So...please be patient (or don't, but it'll take a while regardless) while I actually get all of those other pictures up on the Photobucket (I'm about to go to bed now, and I think I left it with only 6 pictures on there...sorry for being a tease!)

Number-two-ly, I read this amazing book called Mountains Beyond Mountains while I was in Ghana and I really, really think you should read it too. Like, right now. And then make all of your friends read it. And then tell them to spread the word and make more people read it.

No, seriously. Close this window and go buy this book on Amazon or something if you haven't already.

Seriously.

Seriously seriously.

It's an important book.
